PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a loose tube type optical fiber cable which is interposed with adhesive materials around a central tension member in order to fix the intertwining of loose tubes without scattering the adhesive materials and without degrading the operating efficiency of the line. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a required number of rotating fiber dividing plates 41, etc., which are pierced a central hole for passing a tension member 2 and a plurality of peripheral holes for passing a prescribed number of the loose tubes 1A and to which required S-Z revolutions are given, a hollow carrying shaft 7 which is formed to an approximately hollow columnar shape, is integrally connected coaxially with the final fiber dividing plate 4N among the rotating fiber dividing plates and stores spare components of wrapping fiber bobbins 8 in the outer peripheral parts, an adhesive material supply head 9 which is coaxially connected to the carrying shaft 7 and an aggregating die 10 and wrapping device 11 which are disposed downstream thereof. Further separately, a lifting operation device consisting of a servo regulator and a low sliding resistance cylinder is annexed to the apparatus in order to hold and operate this adhesive material supply head 9.
