PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector ferrule that can reduce optical loss at the time of butt-connecting. SOLUTION: While an optical fiber fixing part is formed in the manner penetrating through the front face wall 33 that forms a joining end face 31 for butt-connecting, a ratio between the length of this fixing part and the diameter of the optical fiber hole 41 of the optical connector fixing part is adjusted, so that the connection loss of the optical connector ferrule or the fluctuation of the connection loss is made lower than a target value in the optical connector ferrule 30. The invention includes the manufacturing method of such optical connector ferrule.
