<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an alternative means in the case where a print device cannot realize print setting of print setting information when document information and the print setting information stored on a server are outputted as prints via the Internet, thereby outputting the prints without a user performing troublesome print setting. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a web server which issues a print request to a print shop via the Internet, an information storing means which stores therein document information such as images and characters and print setting information, and a downloading means which downloads the document information and print setting information onto a local server. Further, an image forming apparatus installed comprises a judging means which judges whether or not the document information and print setting information can be realized, a judgement result displaying means which displays the judgement result by the judging means, and an alternative means searching means which searches an alternative means of print setting of the print setting information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
