<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of remaining toner causing image void, by minimizing toner remaining on the inclined face of a toner storage part, in particular, on an upside of it. <P>SOLUTION: The structure is such that a sheet is used as a stirring member and the sheet has a length that extends to the bottom of a development unit. In addition, an elastic member (excitation Mylar) is disposed on the inclined face of the toner storage part. In addition, a dowel is disposed at the upper end of it so that the elastic member is freely movable. When the stirring member comes into contact with the elastic member when rotating, the elastic member is moved down along the inclined face.
