FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive consumption of hydrogen in a CO eliminator.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation system comprises a reformer 1 generating reaction gas containing hydrogen by reforming carbon-based fuel 13; a CO converter 2 converting CO in the reaction gas exhausted from the reformer 1 into H2; an intermediate density CO eliminator 3 reducing the concentration of CO by making the reaction gas exhausted from the CO converter 2 react with oxygen-containing gas; a fuel cell 5 for generating power by making the reaction gas exhausted from the CO eliminator 3 react with oxygen-containing gas; and a low-concentration CO eliminator 4 arranged in the middle of the CO eliminator 3 and the fuel cell 5, reducing the density of the low-concentration CO down to a density not harmful for the fuel cell.
