<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a person to be cared on a bed body 2 from falling in trying to pick himself up. <P>SOLUTION: The side of a bed 1 is provided with fences 4a to 4d. Fitting parts 11 to 13 projecting downward from the fence are inserted and removed in engagement holes 21 to 23 formed in the side of the bed body. Sensors 28a to 28d for detecting the load W of the fence are provided on the bottom 25 of the engagement hole or the lower side of the bottom of the engagement hole. Each output of the sensors is given to level discriminating means 41, 42, thereby discriminating the level. When the person to be cared on the bed tries to pick himself up to apply the body weight to the fence, the load W detected by the sensors of the fence reaches a first value W1 or more, and this excess is detected by the level discriminating means 41. When the person to be cared tries to remove the fence, the load W detected by the sensors reaches under a second value W2, this is detected by a level discriminating means 42. The output of the level discriminating means 41, 42 is transmitted to a nurse center through an OR gate 43 and displayed on a display means 55 of the nurse center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
