<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monoclonal antibody which prevents the metastasis of epithelial cancer, nervour cancer or sarcoma, and to provide a hybridoma which produces the monoclonal antibody. <P>SOLUTION: The hybridoma which can produce a monoclonal antibody having an action for lowering or inhibiting the metastasis of human CD151-expressing epithelial cancer is obtained by selecting the hybridoma whose supernatant specifically reacts with a recombinant cell (NIH3T3) and prevents the motility of RPMI4788 cell, from hybridomas prepared from a myeloma cell strain and a splenic cell isolated from a mouse immunized with the cell (NIH3T3) recombined with a gene SFA-1 having a specific sequence encoding a four transmembrane protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
