PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot loading mechanism of a disk device which has a lever 5 for detecting a disk and is prevented from undergoing deterioration in disk reading performance due to vibration. SOLUTION: The slot loading mechanism is provided in which a shaft 5a extended to a disk 14 insertion path is erected, a pair of levers turned during ejection are supported in a freely turnable manner by a reproducing part chassis 2, and a feeding roller 10 is provided which is arranged between the pair of levers 5 and the disk insertion path and changes in positions between a position where the roller contacts with the disk and a position where it is separated from the disk, and is rotationally driven during insertion and ejection of the disk. In the slot loading mechanism, the feeding roller 10 is separated from the disk and is brought into press contact with the pair of levers 5 at disk clamp at which insertion of the disk is finished.
