PURPOSE: An optical mouse for a notebook computer is provided to realize very fast and correct operation while not causing the unnaturalness to muscle even if a user uses the optical mouse for a long time. CONSTITUTION: An internal part is embedded into a main body of the notebook computer. An external part(20) is connected to the internal part through a port formed on the main body, and is operated by a finger tip as placing to an exterior of the main body. The external part(20) is moved to a front/rear and a left/right direction by moving the muscle of a finger without moving a hand. An enter key input or a subsidiary key input is performed by pressing a switch cover(23a) through two fingers. The external part(20) comprises a case(22) comprising an upper and a lower case(221,222), an optical sensor(23), and a switch(24). |
