PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preparing a proof for confirming whether the size and arrangement of dots, characters and the like are completed just as designed, and a proof for confirming completion of the color by inkjet recording. SOLUTION: A first image forming process in which the process in which an ink of a color of YMCK is delivered and is cured by UV-ray irradiation is repeated on four colors to prepare a proof of a color image, and a second image forming process in which after inks of YMCK are delivered, the inks are cured by the UV-ray irradiation to prepare the proof of the color image, can be selectively executed.
