PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A plasma display panel including, arranged in opposed relationship, a first substrate and a second substrate. First and second electrodes, a dielectric layer covering the first and second electrodes and address electrodes are sequentially superimposed on the first substrate. The first and second electrodes extend in a first direction and are disposed with a spacing therebetween. The address electrodes extend in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and are disposed with a spacing therebetween. The second substrate is provided with multiple first barrier walls extending in the second direction and disposed on positions opposite to the address electrodes and a reflective film covering the second substrate and the first barrier walls. For example, the address electrodes are provided with widths equal to or greater than those of apical portions of the first barrier walls. Accordingly, while inhibiting any deterioration of image quality by reflection of external light, there can be realized efficient contribution of visible light emitted by phosphor to image display and enhancement of image brightness.
