PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure to prevent the suction of air into a spark advance chamber or spark retard chamber. SOLUTION: Annular oil storage chambers 31, 32 are provided in sliding clearancesα1,α2. Even when air is mixed into oil in the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, because oil is collected on the outer circumferential side by the effect of a centrifugal force, a hydraulic chamber evacuated by torque variation preferentially sucks the oil collected on the outer circumference of the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, preventing the air from reaching the spark advance chamber A or spark retard chamber B. When one hydraulic chamber vacuum-sucks oil from the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, in practice, because the other hydraulic chamber feeds oil under pressure to the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, negative pressure is hardly generated in the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, preventing the suction of oil into the oil storage chamber 31 or 32. Even when air is mixed into oil in the oil storage chamber 31 or 32, in addition, the air-included oil is discharged to the outside at the time of oil discharge from the hydraulic chamber, preventing the increase of air even through the use for an extended period of time.
