PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosis device of an automobile air conditioner which has versatility to a variety of air-conditioning conditions and vehicle conditions, and can diagnose a failure at cooling and heating in a short time, and failure diagnosis method.SOLUTION: In a failure diagnosis device of an automobile air conditioner, when a compressor 142 is operated at a cooling mode at which an air mix door 160 increases a cold wind volume with respect to a hot wind volume, a cold wind temperature detected by a cold wind temperature sensor 146 is not lowered within a period from an operation of the compressor 142 up to the lapse of a prescribed time, and high-pressure side pressure detected by a pressure sensor 145 is not raised within a period from the operation of the compressor 142 up to the lapse of the prescribed time, a control part 210 determines a cooling abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
