PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that allows an adjustment of an image to make images to be displayed on a transparent display easy to be visible for users without increasing manufacturing costs of the transparent display.SOLUTION: An image processing device is provided that comprises: a contrast adjustment unit that estimates illumination light with respect to information on a brightness value of an input image signal, brightens the illumination light by a prescribed amount for a range equal to or less than prescribed brightness of the estimated illumination light, and estimates reflectance to create a new brightness value; a color emphasis unit that estimates illumination light with respect to information on a color value of the input image signal, brightens the illumination light by the prescribed amount for the range equal to or less than the prescribed brightness of the estimated illumination light, and estimates reflectance to create a new color value; and an image signal creation unit that creates an image signal for displaying the image on a self-light emitting type transparent display using the new brightness value and the new color value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
