Disclosed is a detection method for a wearable device, the method comprising: the value of the distance between the wearable device and a user is detected (S101); it is determined whether the value of the distance between the wearable device and the user exceeds a preset distance threshold value (S102); if the value of the distance between the wearable device and the user does not exceed the preset distance threshold value, a body feature value of the user is detected within a preset time period (S103); if the body feature value of the user does not exceed a preset threshold value range for the body feature value, it is determined that the user is wearing the wearable device (S104). Also disclosed is a wearable device. The detection method for the wearable device and the wearable device rapidly and accurately determine whether the user is wearing the wearable device by detecting the value of the distance between the wearable device and the user and the body feature value of the user. |
