The present invention relates to a method, a server and a computer-readable recording medium for providing weather information. According to an aspect of the present invention, the method for providing weather information comprises: (a) a step where a server acquires a variety of weather information by altitude for a real area located in a prescribed range; and (b) a step where the server generates a terrain object corresponding to terrain of the real area, and generates a weather object indicating weather information which corresponds to at least one prescribed area on the terrain object and is acquired by altitude to supply the weather object to a terminal or support the terminal in generating the terrain object and the weather object.
