Artifical leather laminate

An artificial leather consisting of a plurality of layers has a transparent or translucent protective layer (3) of plastic which is provided on its reverse side with a colour layer (4) or a pattern. Below the colour layer there is disposed a cover layer (5) of PVC or polyurethane which is attached by means of an adhesive layer (6) to a support layer (7) of woven, warp-knitted or composite textiles. The protective layer has a thickness of 0.01 to 1 mm and consists of polyamide, PVC or polyurethane. For the production, first the protective layer (3) is applied to a paper web (2) which lies on a conveyor belt (1). Then the other layers are applied. After the adhesion of the adhesive layer (6) on the carrier layer (7), the paper web (2) is finally peeled off the protective layer (3). <IMAGE>
