Acoustic aid apparatus

The acoustic aid apparatus detects sounds to the side of a person on which his non-functioning ear is located in order to present them without wires on the other side of the person where they are transmitted with the aid of an earpiece to the usable ear of the said person. A spectacle arm (12) contains, for this purpose, a transmitter of electromagnetic signals and the other arm (13) a receiver of these same signals. Transmission is carried out by carrier frequency lying between 150 and 250 KHz modulated by the sound signal. The transmitter and the receiver each have a coil/core assembly whose longitudinal axes are parallel. The wireless transmission is therefore carried out by coupling the two assemblies. <IMAGE>
