PURPOSE:To eliminate the counting and the repaying of small change, to execute efficiency, and to improve efficiency and operability by repaying change to a user by recording the change on a prepaid amount ticket instead of repaying the change to the user in cash. CONSTITUTION:A result obtained by comparing the toll of a toll highway with the balance remaining on the amount ticket by a comparing means 1, namely, shortage information to indicate that the toll of the toll highway is more than the balance remaining on the amount ticket and a shortage exists, is supplied to an operation control means 3. While the operation control means 3 requests the user to pay the amount to supply the shortage according to the shortage information, the operation control means 3 controls a balancing processing for a calculating means 5. The calculating means 5 calculates the shortage by subtracting the balance of the amount ticket from the toll of the toll highway and calculates the balanced amount by subtracting this shortage from the supplied amount supplied and paid by the user, this balanced amount is supplied to a supplied amount recording means 7 and recorded on the amount ticket as the change. Thus, the counting and the repaying of the small change can be unnecessary, the efficiency can be executed, and the operability can be improved. |
