PURPOSE:To improve a security and a reliability by detecting the generation of an abnormal condition by means of an abnormal condition detecting means and executing a prescribed report by means of a report processing means. CONSTITUTION:An abnormal condition detecting means 13 detects, for example, a drawer abnormal condition, an environmental abnormal condition such as a high temperature and a fume, an abnormal operation condition which is not the ordinary operation of a keyboard, etc., in remaining in a condition in which the drawer is opened for a long time. A report processing means 16 selects a reporting destination telephone number and report contents according to the abnormal states detected by the abnormal condition detecting means 13, and the report is executed by a public communication line. Namely, for example, when the drawer abnormal condition is detected, since it is the case where a burglar is in, the reporting destination telephone number and report contents for a police report are selected, and when the environmental abnormal condition such as the high temperature and fume is detected, since it is the case where a fire is generated, the reporting destination telephone number and report contents for a fire fighting report are selected, and the report is executed by the public communication line. Thus, a POS system can be obtained in which the reliability is high from the viewpoint of the security. |
