摘要

The cpd. of formula (I) for use as a bactericide and immuno-stimulant, effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, is made by reaction of 1-cyclopropyl 7-chloro 6-fluoro 1,4-dihydro 4-oxo quinoline 3-carboxylic acid with N-ethoxycarbonyl piperazine, followed by hydrolysis.
