摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a light receiving amount of a luminous quantity detecting element to be an optional value. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 10 is roughly configured with: a semiconductor laser 11 acting like a laser light emitting element; a collimator lens 14; a starting mirror 15; an objective lens 16; the luminous quantity detecting element 18; and a reflection mirror 20 for reflecting a leaked light of a laser beam into the luminous quantity detecting element 18 or the like: Further, the optical pickup device 10 is provided with a luminous quantity adjustment mechanism 22 for adjusting the luminous quantity placed between the luminous quantity detecting element 18 and the reflecting mirror 20. The luminous quantity adjustment mechanism 22 adjusts a turning angle of a luminous quantity adjustment member 24 supported in a turnable manner to adjust the luminous quantity made incident onto the luminous quantity detecting element 18. Thus, adjusting the turning angle of the luminous quantity adjustment member 24 at an optional angle can facilitate the luminous quantity adjustment so as to enhance luminous quantity detection accuracy by the luminous quantity detecting element and to stabilize the detection accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
