摘要 FIELD: metal cutting, testing wear resistance of hard-alloy cutting tools. SUBSTANCE: procedure predicting wear resistance of hard-alloy cutting tools by selected parameter consists in conducting reference test for wear resistance in process of material cutting at optimal or close to optimal cutting speed, in conducting test for change of initial parameter caused by properties of surface polyoxide structure formed in process of heating at temperature equal to average temperature in cutting zone, in construction of reference correlation dependence " initial parameter-wear resistance " for particular cutting and heating temperatures, in subsequent current statistic check of value of initial parameter alone of present lot of hard-alloy cutting tools and in prediction of wear resistance of present lot of cutting tools. Value of intensity of electric field necessary for electric puncture of polyoxide structure ( film ) formed on surface of hard-alloy cutting tool at temperature and in duration of its oxidation heating equal correspondingly to cutting temperature and duration of functioning of this cutting tool to specified criterion of dulling is taken n the capacity of initial parameter. EFFECT: increased accuracy and reduced labor input to conducting wear resistance tests. 2 dwg
