PURPOSE:To obtain a high positive triboelectric charge by using a specified bisphenol-based compd. for the member for imparting triboelectric charge. CONSTITUTION:The bisphenol-based compd. selected from a group consisting of formulas I and II is dispersed in a solvent or resin, the dispersion is applied on the base material of the member for imparting triboelectric charge, or the resin as such is formed to obtain the member. In formula I, X, Y and Z are H, OH, COOH and 1-10C lower alkyl groups, R1-R4 are H and 1-10C lower alkyl groups. In formula II, R5 is H and 1-10C lower alkyl groups, Q and L are H, OH, COOH, NO2 and CN, and T is H, OH, COOH and 1-10C lower alkyl groups. Consequently, a member for imparting positive triboelectric charge is obtained, and a picture quality equivalent to that of the initial picture is imparted even after continuous copying. |
