PURPOSE:To obtain the analysis result with high precision by confirming noise and the signal component with a two-component image concentration state figure, then removing the specified noise from the coordinates range. CONSTITUTION:Porous iron oxide is used for a sample to be analyzed, measured results of characteristic X-rays stored in memories are converted into intensity values of the image information (image concentration values) respectively, and an image intensity value histogram of Fe and O in the sample is prepared. The intensity histogram (a) of Fe is compared with the portion of the symbol A, only the portion near the peak of the intensity histogram (a) of Fe is extracted, in which signal and noise (hole) are mixed, but the number of picture elements corresponding to the portion of noise can be counted from the intensity histogram (a) of Fe and the intensity histogram (b) of O. When the number of picture elements corresponding to noise is subtracted from the number of picture elements of the above extracted portion, only the signal component regarding Fe can be obtained. |
