<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of executing accounting processing via a network without requiring technical knowledge on the accounting processing such as bookkeeping. <P>SOLUTION: An accountancy system is composed of a user terminal 10 used by a customer, a database server 20 used by an accounting desk work agent, and the network 100 for connecting the user terminal 10 and the database server 20. Document data including a keyword and an amount of money on transactions is transmitted to the database server 20 via the network 100 from the user terminal 10. The database server 20 automatically journalizes on the basis of the keyword included in the document data, and registers journalization in a ledger held by the database server 20.
