COMPONENT MANAGING METHOD FOR UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE:To predict replacing time accurately and to realize remote manage ment of components by registering at least replacing period and data on the introduced date for all consumables requiring replacement, accumulating the used time and the opening/closing times, and transmitting the data on a commu nication line. CONSTITUTION:An operational signal of a fan and an ON signal of a breaker are taken through a detection I/O section 4 into a communication controller 3 where the signals are converted into serial data. The serial data are then transmitted through a transmitter 5 and a receiver 6 to a computer 7 where the operating time is counted through an internal counter function and recorded. Opening/closing times are counted based on the serial data and recorded. Accu mulated data are then compared with a replacing period previously registered in an internal memory for the purpose of judgment.
