<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inspection method of a toner carrier by which the image of a high quality is surely and stably obtained without causing white image fogging and also causing a change in the image and an image irregularity with time at a successive printing time and for the printing of a partial solid image. <P>SOLUTION: It is inspected that a surface potential attenuation speed absolute value after 0.1 sec to 0.2 sec when an electric charge is imparted is ≥0.1 [V/sec] in the case that the surface of the toner carrier such as a developing roller is electrified by generating corona discharge by applying the voltage of 8 kV to a corona discharger arranged by leaving the interval of 1 mm with the surface by the inspection method of the toner carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
