The container has a housing (1) with an inlet, a chute (11) and a movable flap (20). Above the chute (11) is a first shaft (30) suspended vertically to open the inlet. On the chute side (1) facing the container interior, the chute (11) is fixed to a second shaft (12). A gear (40) rotates the second shaft (12) and in the opposite rotational direction transmits onto the first shaft (30). The chute's (11) movement into a closed position causes the flap (20) to move into an open position. The inlet is separated from the container's interior at the sides by side walls (6) and bottom (7). ADVANTAGE - The interior of the container cannot be reached from the outside to steal the contents, nor can people get inside.
