<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal switching device that outputs optical signals in which dispersion in light quantity is made small regardless of the paths of the optical signals. <P>SOLUTION: The optical signal switching device is provided with a plurality of input waveguides and a plurality of output waveguides. The paths of optical signals inputted into the input waveguides are switched at the crossing sections of the input and output waveguides and the signals are outputted onto the output waveguides. The device is provided with optical switches 11 which are arranged at the crossing points and used to switch the paths of optical signals, a switching state control section which controls the states of the optical switches, and output intensity adjusting sections 15 which are used to adjust the intensity of output signals so that the intensity of optical signals being outputted is made equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
