摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the distortion of a winding core and the racing of the winding core in a winding apparatus for a sheet material for a metal honeycomb body. <P>SOLUTION: First and second disk guides 43a and 43b arranged so as to hold the sheet material on the winding core 50 are connected by belts 58 and 59 through an offset shaft 57 and the first disk guide is driven by a motor 46 to synchronously rotate both disk guides. A lateral push member 80 having a predetermined diameter is held to the second disk guide in an integrally rotatable manner and made axially movable by an air cylinder 90. The winding core advances to the gap between both disk guides to be locked with the first disk guide and the lateral push member in such a state that the leading end of the winding core penetrates into the receiving hole 85 of the lateral push member. When the metal honeycomb body wound around the winding core reaches a predetermined diameter, the lateral push member is projected to press the metal honeycomb body to the first disk guide and, therefore, rotary torque is applied to the metal honeycomb body from the disk guides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
