<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for smoothly forming the surface of cathodes after electrolyzing without generating particulate or powdery electrodepositing materials on the surface while passing a prescribed current to an electrolytic cell at the time of replacing the cathodes after electrolyzing with cathodes before electrolyzing by half in one cell in an electrolytic refining. CONSTITUTION:At the time of replacing the cathodes after electrolyzing with the cathodes before electrolyzing in one electrolytic cell, half of the cathodes after electrolyzing in the electrolytic cell are pulled up from the electrolytic cell, and next, the cathodes before electrolyzing are electrolyzed in the electrolytic cell for equal to above prescribed time in according with the value of cathode current density in the case of electrolyzing at a prescribed cathode current density with all anodes and all cathodes inserted into the electrolytic cell. Or the cathodes before electrolyzing are electrolyzed in another electrolytic cell or is inserted into the electrolytic cell after electroless plating and, after that, residual half of the cathodes after electrolyzing is replaced by the cathodes before electrolyzing to electrolyze at a prescribed cathode current density.</p> |
