<p>PURPOSE:To provide a disc brake which facilitates separation of a friction pad from a disc rotor. CONSTITUTION:A axially stretched notch 12 is formed on the torque receiving surface part 9 of a friction pad press part 11. The spring constant of a friction pad press part 11 is decreased, bending easily occurs, and a contact area between the friction pad press part 11 and a friction pad is reduced. Thereby, when a return force is exerted on the friction pad after release of brake operation, the friction pad is easily separated away from a disc rotor, and a drag threatening with occurrence in conventional arts does not occur.</p> |
