<p>PURPOSE:To retain comprehensive immobilizing pellets in a mesh tank in the anaerobic state and eliminate the adhesion of mold to the comprehensive immobilizing pellets by returing the comprehensive immobilizing pellets remaining in the mesh tank provided in a denitrification tank and circulating the pellets. CONSTITUTION:Raw liquid is blown from a raw liquid introducting pipe 18 into a transfer pipe 24 by a pump 26, a part of which is made to remain in a nitrification tank 12. Raw liquid in the nitrification tank 12 is aerated by an air dispersion disk 20, biologically treated and nitrified in comprehensive immobilizing pellets 16. A water flow is formed in the transfer pipe 24, and a part of comprehensive immobilizing pellets 16 in the nitrification tank 12 is sucked into the transfer pipe 24, and then transferred into a mesh tank 30 and agitated thereby by an agitator 32. The inside of the denitrification tank 14 is retained in the anaerobic state, and the comprehensive immobilizing pellets 16 in the mesh tank 30 are also retained in the anaerobic state. The growth of mold which is weak in the anaerobic state is controlled to eliminate the adhesion of mold onto the surfaces of comprehensive immobilizing pellets 16.</p> |
