<p>The barrel consists of a cylindrical body (1) and a circular lid (8), with a C-section locking ring (12) to hold the lid in place. The upper edge of the barrel has a flattened rim (3) made from a double fold (4,5), and below the rim the barrel wall has an annular recess (6). The lid has a peripheral channel (9) to receive the upper edge of the barrel body, the outer side of which is cylindrical in shape. The locking ring has upper (13) and lower (15) branches, the upper one fitting over the outer rim of the lid and the lower one engaging with the recess in the barrel wall. The inside of the barrel can be covered by a protective film layer in the form of a bag, the upper edge of which is held in place between the barrel rim and lid. <IMAGE></p> |
