PURPOSE: To newly install an air conditioner in car without requiring remodeling work to provide a drain pipe for draining drain water in a building. CONSTITUTION: A tank 11 to store drain water and a drainage pump 12 to send out the drain water are furnished on a lower part of an elevator shaft 3, and as an opening and closing valve 13 opens when car 2 descends to the lowest floor of the elevator shaft 3, the drain water in a drain pipe 10 is discharged and stored in the tank 11, and when the drain water in the tank 11 reaches the upper limit water level, the drainage pump 12 is started by actuation of a float switch, the drain water is delivered to a machine room 4 through a drain pipe 16 and drained outside a building 1. |
