摘要 PURPOSE: To enhance the attitude control and running stability of a vehicle when the vehicle is started/accelerated over a road having a low splite μ by providing a rear differential gear with a differential limiting means exhibiting differential limiting force capable of giving a transfer ratio equal to or more than a specified value. CONSTITUTION: In the traction control system, a rear differential gear 103 is equipped with a torque sensitive type differential limiting means 105, and since its transfer ratio R1 is so constituted as to be R1 >2, for example, when a right wheel 11 is spun at the time of starting/acceleration over a road having a split μ, if the brake of brake torque TB is simultaneously applied to a right and a left rear wheel 9 and 11, the drive torque TL of the left wheel 9 at the grounding side becomes greater than TB, drive torque TL greater than brake torque TB can thereby be applied to the left wheel 9. Besides, if the transfer ratio Rt of the differential gear 103 is set to 2, drive torque TL equivalent to brake torque TB, that is TL=TB, is thereby transmitted.
