<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, accurately and inexpensively apply a waterproofing agent in a short time to a wire harness comprising multiple electric wires while minimizing the waterproofing agent. <P>SOLUTION: In the waterproofing agent applying method to the wire harness, each electric wire 11 precedently applied with the waterproofing agent 12 on a surface is housed in a holding space between each tabular member 21 of an application holder 20 (Fig. a). The surface of each electric wire 11 is held between a pair of holding parts 21a and 21a of each tabular member 21, pressure is intermittently applied from the outer side of each tabular member 21 in this state, and the holding parts 21a of the tabular members 21 are relatively moved gradually in a row direction of each electric wire 11 (Fig. b). By this, the electric wires 11 are delivered to the outside from the application holder 20 while the waterproofing agent 12 on each electric wire 11 surface is permeated into each gap between the electric wires 11 (Fig. c).
