PURPOSE: To efficiently reduce and remove NOx from waste combustion gas by specifying each catalytic component and the content of the component in a waste gas purification material with a 1st catalyst on the waste gas inflow side and a catalyst obtd. by mixing a 2nd and a 3rd catalysts on the outflow side. CONSTITUTION: A waste gas purification material with a 1st catalyst on the waste gas inflow side and a catalyst obtd. by mixing a 2nd and a 3rd catalysts on the outflow side is used. The 1st catalyst is obtd. by carrying 0.2-15wt.% one or more kinds of elements and/or compds. such as silver and/or silver compd. and 0.01-10wt.% compd. of W, V, Mo, Mn, Nb or Ta on an inorg. oxide. The 2nd catalyst is obtd. by carrying 0.5-30wt.% one or more kinds of elements selected from among Cu, Ni and Ag and/or one or more kinds of their compds., <=30wt.% compds. of one or more kinds of elements such as W, V and Mo and <=5wt.% one or more kinds of elements selected from among rare earth elements and alkali metals on an inorg. oxide. The 3rd catalyst is obtd. by depositing 0.01-5wt.% Pt, Pd, Ru, Rh, Ir or Au on an inorg. oxide. |
