<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a microcomputer application system. <P>SOLUTION: A DDT 9 contains a data transfer command buffer capable of maintaining a data transfer command to be transferred to a DMAC 8 and a data control part for taking the data transfer command into the data transfer command buffer in the number of bits specified by a command transfer bit number information set previously in relation to the number of constitution bits of external buses. Since the bus width of the data bus is not limited by a data transfer processing circuit in the microcomputer application system, the multi-pin configuration of an external controller, the increase of mount area therefore and the multilayer of a board substrate are evaded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
