Outer roller shutter system for windows and doors

The system has a roller shutter which is movable through an actuator (8) which is located on the inside of the window. On the outside of the window a caisson in which a concertina door (3) is provided being detachably connected to the roller shutter. The caisson consists of a lower piece (1) and an upper piece (2) between which the concertina is fastened. The lower caisson piece is fixed to the lower window area and the upper caisson piece is hight-adjustable through a side-guide. The detachable connection between the roller shutter and the upper caisson piece is achieved through a fastening component such as a permanent magnetic strip (5,7).
