PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having thiophene structure, superior in light resistance and the like, and useful for e.g. thermotransferring materials. SOLUTION: This new compound is shown by formula I [A is at least a coupler component, binding to D through the active point of the coupler component; D is nitrogen or =CH-; R1 and R2 are each H, a (substituted) alkyl or the like; R3 is an alkyl, aryl or the like; R4 is H or a substituent substitutable onto the thiophene ring], e.g. a compound of formula II. The compound of formula I is obtained, for example, in the case of the compound of formula II, by reacting a compound of formula III with a compound of formula IV in methanol in the presence of potassium carbonate through adding sodium peroxosulfate at room temperature for one hour. |
