PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain automatic assembly and also to execute adjustment in a short time for the assembling method of an optical device. SOLUTION: As for the adjusting method of a lens at the assembly process of the optical device incorporating a first unit including a light emitting element 20 and a light receiving element 22 and a second unit including the lens 24; the position of the light emitting element 20, that of the light receiving element 22, that of the lens 24 and that of an either image between the image of the light emitting element 20 transmitted through the lens 24 and the image of the light receiving element 22 transmitted through the lens 24 are measured, and the position of the lens in the direction of an optical axis is calculated based on the measured result, so that the position of the second unit is adjusted based on the measured result and the calculated result. |
