PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system by which a transaction is enabled even at the time of communication fault occurrence and transaction data is automatically collected in a store server at the time of restoration of a communication fault. SOLUTION: The system consists of the store server 1 and plural POS terminal equipments 2 which are connected to the store server by a LAN line 3, the POS terminal equipments 2 refers to PLU(Price Look Up), etc., stored in the store server 1 and also transaction data such as a transaction log or a detail log is transmitted to the store server 1. In this case, a second transaction data storage part 26 is provided in the POS terminal equipments 2, transaction data is temporarily stored in the second data storage part 26 when a communication fault caused by the store server 1 or the LAN line 3, etc., occurs and transmission is made to be impossible during the transmission of transaction data from the POS terminal equipments 2 to the store server 1 and transaction data stored in the second transaction storage part 26 is simultaneously transmitted to the second transaction storage part 26 when the communication fault is recovered at the time of succeeding transaction data transmission. |
