PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency monitoring device by which emergency monitoring is surely executed. SOLUTION: When a person to be monitored carrying a radio transmission terminal equipment 2 falls sick in an installation, the switch operating part 3 of the radio transmission terminal equipment 2 is operated so as to transmit an emergency signal. When a receiving device receives the emergency signal, an alarm equipment 15 connected to a call controller 11 issues emergency alarm. At the same time, the call controller 11 electrically executes connection between an intercom 7 on the side to be monitored and an intercom 13 on the monition side. In the meantime, a call connecting unit 25 outputs a control signal for operating monitor cameras 19 to a camera controller 21 based on the output of the emergency signal from the call controller 11. The monitor cameras 19 are automatically operated and an image from the proper monitor camera 19 is viewed on a monitor television 22. A monitoring person can properly make a call with the person to be monitored by the interlocking of the call controller 11 and the camera controller 21 and monitors the monitored person by the monitor television 22.
