摘要 There is disclosed a compact lens system (100) having four injection-molded singlet lens elements (102, 104, 106, 108) with one of the lens elements having a diffractive optical surface (116) to control axial chromatic aberrations. The lens system has an aperture stop (152) that has outer (172) and inner (174) surfaces that are diffused. The lens system includes interdigitated flange features (126, 128, 130, 132) which provided interdigitated alignment between the lens elements. The lens shroud (144) protects the lens cell (164), and is a conical baffle which prevents sunlight from entering the glass window (142). A plurality of light suppression elements (150, 152) and a baffle (154) are used to suppress stray light paths from reaching a detector array (158) of the lens system. Moreover, the lens system includes an anti-aliasing surface on one of the lens elements for controlling aliasing effects.
