<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a power factor improving composite resonance-type converter which can cope with worldwide applications. <P>SOLUTION: In this switching frequency control system composite resonance- type converter, a voltage resonance pulse voltage generated in a primary voltage resonance converter is fed back to a power factor improvement circuit via a tertiary winding or a transformer. Here an active clamp circuit is provided in the primary side to clamp the feedback voltage. A series resonance capacitor is not provided in the feedback path. Or the clamp pulse voltage generated in the active clamping circuit is fed back to the power factor improvement circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
