<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which eliminates an erroneous setting of transfer paper by a user and reduces mis-copies, by explicitly displaying transfer paper required to be set and a paper feed tray in which the required transfer paper is to be adequately set for a user in a message display. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device having the paper feed trays (7-1, 7-2, and 7-3) which store specific paper is provided with a main controller 1 which has the function of detecting any paper feed tray requiring the setting of suitable transfer paper when suitable transfer paper for printing is not present in the paper feed tray, and allowing a display 4 to warn to set the suitable transfer paper in the paper feed tray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
