PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a thin battery which has a laminated exterior body where a defective seal is reduced by securely welding a seal portion so as to enhance retention characteristics of the battery. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a thin battery has the following process steps: a laminated exterior body 1 is made, after housing a generating element, positive and negative electrode collector terminals of the generating element are put into an opening at one end of the laminated exterior body 1 so as to be sealed, a mixture is injected into an opening at the other end of the laminated armor body 1, a vent is formed at least one part of the opening at the other end of the laminated exterior body 1, and sealing is performed at other parts, the mixture is polymerized, gas produced by charging and discharging the generating element is discharged through a vent, and then the vent is sealed by welding. |
