<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that has a function of urging a user to set paper size and preventing the user from forgetting the operation of setting paper size, at a relatively low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is constituted so that, upon the input of a signal indicating that a tray detecting part 20 detected that a paper tray T of the image forming device 100 has been detached, a control part 10 instructs a display part 60 to display either message M regarding the setting of a paper size for the paper tray T or a screen for paper size setting operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
